We all know Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi, one of the stars of the infamous Jersey Shore series on MTV. Snooki is famous for ‘working hard but partying harder.’ This partying involves thousands of calories of alcohol consumption, plus late night snacks (as one can watch her munching on the show).
She wasn’t always like this though. As she shared with OK! Magazine, 4’9″ Snooki went down to 80 lbs in highschool, eating only a “cracker a day”. The post by OK! goes on to say that it’s a good thing that Snooki is looking healthier now and that she should “keep eating the fried pickles.”
While her past of anorexia is a reason for sympathy, her current diet of alcohol, ice cream and meatballs is not something that should be encouraged. After recovering from an eating disorder, one should not shoot to the other side of weight spectrum, but instead lead a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet.
She’s cute and everything and she may be happier with herself now, but that’s no reason to binge!
